Gulf fishing charters

The Gulf of Mexico is just a hop-skip away from Tarpon Tom's and offers excellent fishing year around. Grouper fishing is particularly popular and big gag and red grouper are taken from just a few miles offshore to 100 feet and beyond. These fish are tremendous fighters and one of the most prized table fish anywhere. Other bottom species we catchin include mangrove snapper and seabass, both of which are excellent sport and eating.
In the spring and fall, kingfish make their run along our coast and the action can really heat up. These fish school and often times every rod on the boat doubles over when the fish are running. Ranging to 40 pounds or better, these fish are lightning fast and are great sport. Their smaller cousin, the Spanish mackerel, is another fish we catch, along with bonito, cobia, blackfin tuna and even some sailfish.
